Learn about the most widely used sweetener in food today, High Fructose Corn Syrup, and why it’s important to try to eliminate it from your diet. Also learn about the many different choices that are available for sweetening your food and the health benefits of reducing consumption of all sweeteners. Taste samples of prepared dishes at end of class. Class format lecture/slide show with ample time for questions and lively discussion. Class taught by Brwyn Griffin, Education/Outreach Manager at Port Townsend Food Co-op.
