Doug Walsh has been a raw foodist for 15 years and used superfoods for over 20 years. In 2005, Doug walked across the country on the 3,000 mile Continental Divide Trail in order to demonstrate the power of a raw food diet high in superfoods (see www.rawhike.com). Doug averaged nearly 30 miles a day on this high elevation walk and successfully completed the trail in just under 5 months. (Doug has also climbed the highest 100 peaks in Colorado and walked the 2,650 mile Pacific Crest trail in the summer of 2001, all on a raw food diet.) Doug is a certified raw food chef with a magna cum laude BA in Physics and a Master’s degree in Education. He’s presented workshops all across the country to assist people in upgrading their health.
