Covid-19 Update

The Food Co-op has had a report of a staff person who has tested positive for the COVID-19 Delta Variant.

The Co-op has been in contact with the Jefferson County Health Department who are following up with any potential close contacts. They have informed us that our current, rigorous daily COVID-19 screening process and cleaning protocols are sufficient to address the situation and that no other action is required.

The staff person who tested positive is receiving care and will not return to work until guidance from the public health officials allow it. The Food Co-op is following all guidelines of the CDC and the local health department.
