2024 Spring Growing Groceries Class

  • Thursday mornings

  • 9:00 - 11:30 AM

  • Starting March 21 thru April 25th

Cost: $50 for class and a suggested donation of $10 to attend a Saturday seed starting workshop (4/6) and field trip (4/20)

Description: This 6-week in-person course will include lectures and activities on the following vegetable garden essentials:

  • Garden design, site conditions and considerations

  • Soil health, amendments and improvements

  • Seed starting

  • Crop rotation, cover crops and plant families

  • Season extenders

  • Common disease and insect problems

  • Pollinator and beneficial insects

Location: The Food Co-op Annex, 2110 Lawrence Street, Port Townsend, WA 98368
The annex is located in the same building as Crossroads Music.
