We encourage you to apply!The Bulk Lead ensures that bulk products are accurately priced, rotated, labeled, faced, and attractively displayed. They work under the Grocery Manager and within department guidelines to determine product selections and orders products emphasizing local, organic, and sustainable products.
This is a full-time position, 32 - 40 hours/week.
Minimum Requirements:
Valid Food Worker Card issued in WA or the ability to acquire one within two weeks of hire
2 or more years of customer service experience required
1-year relevant experience in grocery is required, including stocking/receiving and merchandising products, knowledge of standard pricing practices, and experience working directly with vendors
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Cooperative and natural food industry experience is preferred
$22.38-32.67/hour DOE/DOQ

We’re looking for a reliable, flexible, Full Time Meat and Seafood Preparer to join our bunch!
The Meat and Seafood Preparer provides friendly, knowledgeable customer service to shoppers. Cuts, packages and prices meat, poultry and seafood products and maintains the cleanliness and safety of the store. Responsible for re-ordering, receiving, and stocking products.
This is a full-time position, 32 - 40 hours/week.
HS diploma or equivalent
Valid Food Worker Card issued in WA, or acquire within 2 weeks of hire
Experience operating commercial meat slicers or grinders strongly preferred
6 or more months of relevant experience in customer focused position strongly preferred
1 year of successful relevant experience in commercial food preparation or related field preferred
Natural and/or organic foods experience helpful
$19.50 - 28.47/hour DOE/DOQ

The Food Co-op is looking for an experienced Food Services Cook to join our team!

The Food Services Cook is responsible for the production of healthy, natural foods for sale in the deli and the grab-n-go case, including soups, salads, entrees, sauces, etc. This position contributes to team and store goals by producing high quality food and assisting with menu planning, costing of recipes, placing orders for ingredients and coordinating kitchen production activities.
This position could be full-time (32-40 hours/week) or part-time (20-28 hours/week).
Minimum Requirements include:
1 year of successful relevant experience in commercial food preparation or related field
3 years of experience preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment
Experience training others in safe operations preferred
Valid Food Worker Card issues in WA, or acquire within 2 weeks of hire

Knowledge of basic math skills
Knowledge of or interest in natural produce
Preferred Qualifications:
6 months relevant experience in retail, customer service focused position, and/or stocking/receiving
Previous natural foods or produce experience helpful
