The Food Co-op’s Grocery Department is looking for a Full-Time Assistant Team Leader for the night and mid-shift! We’re looking for reliable, flexible team-members dedicated to excellent customer service, cooperation, and sharing our passion for food and food systems, and we encourage you to apply!
General duties include:
Serving as back up to the Grocery Team Leader and/or Manger by assisting with overseeing daily team operations
Providing leadership and guidance to other Grocery Team members in the Manager/TL’s absence
Receiving and merchandising
Assisting with and performing all closing procedures
Acquires and shares product knowledge with team members and shoppers
Keeps well-informed about products and specials
Minimum Requirements: Valid Food Worker Card issued in WA or the ability to acquire one within two weeks of hire. High School diploma or equivalent. 6 months relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications: 1 year or more Grocery experience, previous Co-operative and/or natural food industry experience preferred.
$22.38-32.67/hour DOE/DOQ

The Food Co-op is seeking a Full-Time Cook to join the Food Services Team! We’re looking for reliable, flexible team-members, and we encourage you to apply!
The COOK, is responsible for the production of healthy natural foods for sale in the deli and the grab-n-go case, including soups, salads, entrees, sauces, etc. This position contributes to team and store optimal operations such as customer satisfaction, sales goals by producing high quality food and assisting with menu planning, costing of recipes, placing orders for ingredients and coordinating kitchen production activities.
Minimum Requirements include: 1 year of successful relevant experience in commercial food preparation or related field; experience operating commercial kitchen equipment.
Preferred Qualifications: 3 years of relevant experience, customer service experience, experience training others in safe operations.
$19.50-28.47/hour DOE/DOQ

The Food Co-op is seeking a Full-Time Produce Stocker! We’re looking for reliable, flexible team-members dedicated to excellent customer service, cooperation, and sharing our passion for food and food systems, and we encourage you to apply!
The Produce Stocker provides friendly, knowledgeable customer service to shoppers. Receives, unpacks and stocks produce and maintains the cleanliness and safety of the store.
Minimum Requirements include: knowledge of basic math skills. Knowledge of or interest in natural produce. Valid Food Worker Card issued in WA, or acquire within 2 weeks of hire.
Preferred Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent, 6 months relevant experience in a customer focused position and/or retail stocking/receiving. Natural or organic produce experience strongly preferred.
$19.50-28.47/hour DOE/DOQ
