Keep Calm and Carrot On.

Dear Co-op Community,

Thank you to all of our community and members who have looked to us as a resource during this time. With the ever-changing landscape of the new normal due to the corona virus, we are working hard to be your resource for healthy local and organic food.

At this time, our shopping hours remain the same (8am-9pm 7 days a week) while we consider how best to keep our shoppers and staff safe, the shelves stocked and the store clean. We realize that everyone is being encouraged to practice social distancing so we are looking at a variety  of options which could include altered hours and/or limiting the number of shoppers in the store as required.  We continue to monitor the situation day to day, hour by hour and will keep you as informed as best we can as things progress.

Our dining area has been closed until further notice.  We are still offering food on the salad/hot bar but for takeout only. Our team has stepped up our sanitation practices by having a staff member monitoring the bar 100% of the time to ensure things are being properly sanitized in between use.

We have been hearing questions from you regarding the possibility of delivery and/or pickup of groceries for those who are in a compromised state. Currently, we are utilizing all of our staff just keeping up with the day to day challenges of cleaning and stocking the store. This last few weeks has brought unprecedented store sales to us,  so you could say we are all hands-on deck.  At this point in time we are unable to assist with those requests, but encourage you to check with your neighbors who may need your help. We will keep you informed if anything changes.

The Co-op offers the Emergency Preparedness program (discount special ordering) through the month of March – find special-order forms online here. These orders will be filled as products are available.

Lastly, our goal right now is to stay fluid and continue to offer the best food we can to our community. And please, next time you are in, join us in  saying  “Thank you” to our staff for continuing to work extra hard to keep our store clean and stocked.  As the saying goes let’s “Keep Calm and Carrot on

With care,

Kenna Eaton, General Manager
