Jar Savers: Plastic Free Bulk Shopping - How It Works

Jar Savers provides sanitized glass jars for reuse. You can bring your clean, wide mouth, label free, glass jars with lids to the DROP OFF station in the north entrance. We will sanitize the jars to be ready for your use again. Pick up a free clean jar in the BULK area.

Recently, we have had a number of jars being placed in the jar saver area that don’t meet our specifications which requires a lot more work from our employees. We really want to keep this program going for all of us to limit our strain on the environment by reusing.

So, let’s go over that again. GLASS jars MUST be CLEAN….LABEL FREE…and most importantly, WIDE MOUTH (Jars must have mouths approximately the circumference of the jar and must be able to balance on its mouth so it can be sanitized.)

We have also begun packaging deli foods such as soups and salads in glass jars, and plan to continue adding other items. We do NOT charge you extra for this glass jar, it is our way of investing in the Jar Saver program.
