At just barely an hour’s drive from the co-op lies Bainbridge Vineyards, a certified organic, B Corp certified, women owned and operated vineyard boasting innovative wines made with fruit grown on some of the state’s oldest grape vines.

Founded in 2009 by Kit and Claire Africa, Sailor Vineyards has anchored itself to the production of wines made from Maréchal Foch – an obscure, difficult to pronounce, deep purple varietal that does well in our region.

With offerings from winemakers and brewers located just down the road and from around the globe, there really is something for everyone…
