Amended Articles of Incorporation Vote Update

A final update on our member-owner vote on the Amended Articles of Incorporation…  The Amended Articles have been approved, 390 yes votes, to only 10 no votes!  Thank you all so much for voting, and a donation of $400 will be sent to the Port Townsend Food Bank in appreciation of your participation, as promised.  The Amended Articles have been posted on the website and in our governing documents binder at the store, and the State of Washington has officially accepted them.  Phew, it’s so satisfying to see completion on a year-long process.  Thank you all again, very much, and if you have any questions, please do send them to boardassistant@foodcoop.coop so I can be sure to get back to you promptly.  –Monica le Roux, Governance Committee Chair.
