Coop2go Update!

Dear Coop2go Enthusiasts!

This past week brought new restrictions from our Governor that affect all of us personally and our Co-op as a business. With new capacity limits on the store and the increase of COVID-19 cases in our community we have seen a parallel growth in the number of shoppers using our online shopping platform—Coop2go.

We’re so excited that you want to shop the Co-op and use this new service, but we are unfortunately limited in how many orders we can take. So, what’s the scoop?  Pretty much what you might expect—supply and demand. Each order takes at least one hour of staff time to process. We have a limited number of trained staff and a limit on our storage capacity until you come pick it up. Believe it or not, we didn’t plan for this with the recent expansion project. Some of these problems are solvable but take time and resources to solve. Others aren’t. Regardless none can be implemented in time to help with the new, current onslaught of orders. Argh! So, we are stuck in that proverbial spot between a rock and a hard place. You are likely feeling that pinch.

Our apologies for any frustrations you are experiencing within those limits. Staff are feeling stressed as well, but truly, we can’t move any faster or take any more orders than we already are. We are trying to make some changes in how we let you know if you can even place an order—but the fact is that if you can’t place an order it is because we have reached our limits.

As exciting as the new Coop2go system is, we urge you to allow our higher risk community members the opportunity to have priority for this service, only until we can figure out some of the current hurdles.  We suspect this too shall soon pass, but until then thanks for rolling with us through all these new challenges!

With appreciation,

Kenna, General Manager

PLease Note:

We are experiencing an increase of Coop2go orders. We have limited number of orders we can process every day. Currently we are booked out 3-5 days. If you need immediate assistance, please reach out to Peddler PT for personal shopping and delivery options.
