Cooking with the Co-op: Vegan Cooking for Vegans and Curious Non-Vegans

Experience a Summer vegan feast! This class is for anybody who wants to dive deeper into the rich, varied and delicious world of plant eating. Join us and learn to make  stunning, tempting, flavor fantastic and healthy meals. Learn to incorporate more plant based menus into your week, use legumes and grains in innovative ways, ferment seeds and nuts, make sauces and draw from the world’s vast store of naturally plant based dishes. No need to be vegan or vegetarian.  

Sidonie loves plant-based cuisine and is looking forward to sharing her wealth of recipes and knowledge with you. You’ll go home with much food for thought.

Dietary Notes: Class is vegan, with all plant-based dishes. The classes are always gluten-free but not in a gluten-free facility, will use nuts and seeds, organic produce from the Port Townsend Food Coop.

About the instructor

Sidonie Maroon is a local chef, culinary educator, and writer. She brings people together to create feasts from international menus, using local in-season foods. You will also find her in her kitchen studio developing recipes, working on revisionist baking projects or in her garden.
